The process gets started from the feeding point. Seeds are lifted by a bucket elevator and fed into the system in a smooth, controlled way so the line does not choke or overload.
From there, the material goes to the cleaning section. In this stage, a seed cleaner removes dust, husk and other light impurities. This helps in protecting the machines and improves the quality of both oil and cake.
After cleaning, the seeds pass through a destoner. Here, stones, sand and other heavier foreign particles are separated from the good seed. Only clean seeds move ahead to the next stage.
The cleaned and destoned seeds are then sent to the crushing / expelling section. Heavy-duty expellers crush the seeds and extract the oil. The cake Comes out from the expeller can be used for the further processing or sold as cattle Feeding, depending on the type of seed.
The crude oil from the expeller is taken to a filter press. In this step, fine solids and suspended particles are removed. The result is clear, bright oil, ready for packing or for sending to a refinery.
